Coordinator of Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Student Services

Western Kentucky University is seeking a coordinator for deaf and hard of hearing student servies. The successful candidate will coordinate interpreters and captionists to provide post-secondary academic services for individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing for university classes and other academic-related events, among other duties. The position is based in Bowling Green, Ky.

PRESIDENT-ELECT DCDD

In 2001, the Division for Children's Communication Development became the Division for Communicative Disabilities and Deafness of the Council for Exceptional Children . DCDD's re-titled journal, Communication Disorders Quarterly, its newsletter, New Times, its listserv, and its web site provide division members with information about the division and its activities. Call for Nominations: DCDD is looking for candidates to fill the position of president-elect for 2008. It is a one-year term with the expectation that this person will serve as president in 2009.
